A Transformative Discovery in Skincare
In 2006, Dr. David Fisher and his team made a groundbreaking discovery that would transform skin health. They uncovered the molecular pathway that controls the skin's ability to protect and repair against UV damages.
Their research led them to SIK — a family of enzymes that act as master regulators of how skin cells respond to stress, especially after UV exposure. When SIK is inhibited, it releases a cascade of the skin's own protective, reparative processes — pathways the skin already has, just waiting to be switched on.
