Our Story
A Transformative Discovery in Skincare
In 2006, Dr. David Fisher and his team made a groundbreaking discovery that would transform skin health. They uncovered the molecular pathway that controls the skin's ability to protect and repair against UV damage.
Their research led them to cAMP — a signaling molecule that sits at the center of the skin's own stress response — and to a family of enzymes called SIK, which work alongside it as master regulators of how skin cells respond to stress, especially after UV exposure. Together, they hold the key to a cascade of the skin's own protective, reparative processes — pathways the skin already has, just waiting to be switched on.
